Available seasonally, Fermenti Artisan Apple-Ginger Kraut is handcrafted, and is our most popular ferment. With a focus on developing personal relationships with family farms, we use the finest organic cabbage. Our Apple-Ginger Kraut ferments for 10 days in German style stoneware crocks. We then cure it in refrigeration for several weeks to allow the flavor to further develop.
This kraut is most often eaten all by itself, as the flavor lends itself well as a healthy snack. It can also be tossed with olive oil to make a delicious salad dressing, or topped onto a deli sandwich. The possibilities are endless.
